Yes, pretty well anything, but especially rhubarb, blackberries (usually with apple), peach , pear or plum- I can't really think of what wouldn't work though if you used some of the very soft fruits like strawberries you wouldn't have much bulk- too wet when cooked.
If I were you, I would serve a main dish so that you could make the apple crumble part of the meal. Some good suggestions would be a type of meat, particularly meatloaf or a sandwhich of somekind.
