Soprano is the smallest and the string length is 13 inches

Concert is the second smallest and is 15 inches from nut to bridge.

Tenor is second biggest and runs 17 inches.

The largest is the baritone and it is 19 inches.

The string notes are going to depend upon what size Ukulele you purchase.

  • Soprano - g'c'e'a' or a'd'f#'b'
  • Concert - g'c'e'a' or gc'e'a'
  • Tenor - gc'e'a', g'c'e'a', or d'gbe'
  • Baritone - dgbe'

Notes on a soprano or concert ukulele are G,C,E,A. The Tenor uke can also be tuned to those notes.

The bottom note, the one furthest away from you is string 1 and the one closest to you is string 4.
