If this is from a test paper, I feel your pain! Couldn't find this answer anywhere but I believe that Carbon Dioxide is produced and WATER VAPOUR. Hope I helped:)
When methanol is burned, it produces two gases. These gases are carbon monoxide and oxygen. Carbon monoxide is very dangerous.
Water and carbon dioxide
2CNH2N+2+(2N+4)O2 --> 2CO2 + (2N+2)H2O
I am not aware of any direct way of producing methanol from methane. The only two ways I know that you can make methanol is by reacting carbon monoxide with hydrogen or by the pyrolysis of wood. Almost all the methanol made today is produced by the Syngas method. In it, methane is converted to carbon monoxide and hydrogen, which are then formed into methanol. Researchers are working on a catalyst to directly convert methane to methanol, which is done by inserting one oxygen atom into a methane molecule, between the carbon atom and a hydrogen atom. Their biggest problem right now is the most efficient catalysts work at temperatures high enough to ignite methanol.
Methane is CH4 or H-CH3 Ethane is CH3-CH3 When compared to H- (in methane), the CH3- (methyl group in ethane) is more electron donating and hence ethane is more basic than methane.
the two major gases that cause greenhouse gases are methane and carbon dioxideco2, methene, evaporates
The two most abundant gases on Earth are nitrogen and oxygen.
two greenhouse gases are carbon dioxide and methane
carbon dioxide and water
Both carbon dioxide and water are produced as gases when paraffin is burned, but of these two, only the carbon dioxide is still a gas when it equilibrates to standard temperature and pressure.
H2O and CO2
The industrial gas industry differs from many other types of manufacturing because its raw materials are primarily extracted from the atmosphere. The two principal gases produced by the industry are nitrogen and oxygen.
Co2 & Cl3
Heat and Light.
There are no greenhouse gases in cow manure, but methane is easily produced from manure if it decomposes anaerobicly (without oxygen).
2 parts hydrogen and 1 part oxygen
there is no "symbol" as such for methanol as it is not an element, it is a compound and a compound is made up of two or more elements. the formula of the compound methanol is CH3OH sometimes this is abreviated to MeOH
Methanol have single carbon atom compound and ethanol have two carbon atoms.
methanol
Main gas is CO2. Gases like SO2 also can be produced
