There does not exist a single group of people in the world which has not tasted discrimination and outright hatred at some historical point. In modern history, however, there are several groups which stand out. Among these are women, Native Americans, Jews, African Americans, and currently, those within the LGBTQ community.

Somewhat longer ago: Blacks in the US and other countries; every other not 100% white person in South Africa before 1990; Japanese people in the US during WW2; women in the workforce; Jews in pre-war Germany; muslims in non-muslim countries; shiite muslims in predominantly sunnite muslim countries or areas; sunnites in predominantly shiite muslim countries or areas; the 'untouchables'-caste in India; people of Korean descent in Japan; aboriginals in Australia; native Indians in the US; older people looking for jobs; Coptic Christians in Egypt; homosexuals. With a little effort this list could easily be made three times as long.
