Allison recommends Transynd. It's also best to use an Allison spin-on filter. The canister spin-on has a magnet attached to it unless someone disposed of an old filter and overlooked it. Amsoil now comes highly recommended so I suppose it comes down to price and a call to Allison service just to hear what they have to say.
