Lemmings are small rodents that are found near the Arctic Circle and are thought to be related to muskrats. There are two types of lemmings. A wood lemming is the smallest and measures around 8 cm, and the Norwegian lemming is the largest species of lemmings measuring about three times the size of a wood lemming.
