you take a total of 6 classes in one semester. 4 of them are science, math, english, and social studies, and the other 2 classes are electives. Electives are more like "extra" classes like spanish, cooking...etc.
Each semester, your 2 elective classes changes, totaling in 8 classes for the year.

My school has: Normal/Advanced/Stratigies language block. N/A/S math. Social studies. Science. Gym/P.E. Choir. Exploritory options; home ec, tech ed, art, exploritory choir. ECT. It's really fun but SS is hard for me.
