How do you do the stepping method from kenichi?
It's a little hard to explain without showing you, but here goes: First, point your toes together with your heels about a foot apart. Next, move your left foot backward so that it is perpendicular (makes a right angle) with your right foot. When you're using this technique, make sure that when your toes are together, you put each foot around one of you opponents feet.
