I think it depends on their gender. Two (or more) males can't be in the same tank, but a male and a female(s) can live in the same tank. And I've heard you can put neon tetras in the same tank but I'm not sure.
Fish of equal size or larger, or just keep the betta by itself, the betta will be happier if you do.
You can only put other betta fish. If you have a male though, I would suggest not putting any other fish. If you have a female then you can put other female's in.
They are best by themselves. A snail is fine however.
Most other tropical fish that require the same water conditions. Just make sure that the other fish are not big enough to eat the Betta.
I just bought a Betta and I have a lil catfish to clean. My Betta didn't like him at first but now all is well....
Fish that are relatively the same size and do not have anything close to large fins. You should watch the fish you put in with the Betta to make sure they get along.
Do not put any sharp angular things in the tank and do not put another type of fish in your betta's tank.
Sorry, type in: how do betta fish live?
no
A Siamese fighting fish is a type of betta. A siamang is a gibbon, a type of ape.
It depends on the type/brand of conditioner, and how much water is the Betta tank can hold.
Betta fish are best as a solitary fish and are not compatible with goldfish.
no because the male and femalebetas are the type of fish that live alone. therefor since their opposite sex then there is a chance of them being OK with each other, so if there is another fish with them then they will attack it and eventually killing each other.
the betta fish is a very beautiful fish but maybe put them in a seperate bowl for awhile.
A Betta fish!
You can try to put Guppy fish in with your Betta fish. That would be one of the only fish that i would put in with my Betta fish. I say that because i have a Betta male and he is OKAY with guppies. the first guppy i put in his died to to getting picked on by him but the others did not, so just give him another chance if you decide to get guppies. Hope i helped!

No...betta fish are usually aggressive and might kill the angelfish.
