It would need a source of food and water. It would also need a form of shelter from whatever weather the planet might have.
In addition to food and water, life needs oxygen in a form it can use, enough pressure to keep the life from blowing apart and from its liquids boiling away without being enough to crush it, an environmental temperature that is not cold enough or hot enough to kill the life, and protection from harmful solar radiation.
If there is water or ice on the planet it could support life.
Water Oxygen The right gravitational pull Right temperature
Whether the planet has water on it and whether the conditions are liveable for that species.
Oxygen and water are needed for life to exist.
It also needs an atmosphere.
As far as we know, Earth is the only planet to contain life. However, it is possible that some form of life could exist on Venus or Mars, or even on one of the icy moons of Jupiter.
Mars.
Earth is the only planet in our system that is confirmedto have life. However, it is believed, and soon to be tested, that the planet Mars, and several moons, may also support life, albeit primitive life (microorganisms, mainly bacteria and vira).
The Earth is unique because it is the only planet known to support life.
MARS.
To find another planet that can support life in case Earth runs out of its resources in the future.
Earth- We are the only planet that can support life.
Earth is the only planet known to support and have intellegent life.
The only known planet to support life as we know it is the one you and I are on, Earth.
Earth
There is a planet that can support life, it is just that the earth still has many years to come before we go to another planet
The third planet from the sun has been proven to support life, but support intelligent life is yet to be determined. There is no criteria to determine intelligent life, but they think they are the smartest. DEA
