I'm not sure of the above answer, it doesn't make much sence. A social worker does not only take children away from their homes. Social Workers work in a range of fields from hospitals, working with people who are struggling with a mental health illness, or helping families or patients who are terminally ill. They work in group homes, shelters for the homeless, politics, in inner-city agenices, as youth workers, home support workers and teachers in colleges or universities.
