Did conflict with Japan cause World War 2?

Partially, at least in the Pacific. When the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor it was certainly considered to be a confrontational act. It was interesting that at the time of the bombings, Japanese diplomats were assuring the U.S. that they weren't interested in going to war.The war in Europe was the result of German attempts to take over Europe. Both the Germans and the Japanese considered themselves to be racially superior to their enemies and not only did they feel that they had the right to take over their respective parts of the world, they felt that they would be far better soldiers and military strategists and that they would easily rule the world after their brilliant battle plans destroyed their enemies.Fortunately for the rest of the world, there were quite a few people who were quite capable of defeating the Axis powers.AnswerNo, conflict with Japan probably did not cause WW2, as Japan only joined later than the European Countries, such as Britain and France, as well as Germany. The USA was ultimately brought in by Japan, though it was invovled with helping the European states that Hitler's Germany wes conquering, As well as Britain and other Allies.

Was the attack on pearl harbor a compromise and conflict?

I'm not siding with anyone here. But it was pretty messed up that Japan bombed us. Then again you have to think why did they bomb us? Well because we banned exports to Japan which is needed to survive, Japan practically didn't have any resources. The fact that we banned exports to Japan is a conflict (it is for Japan). Not only was that a conflict but, the attack by Japan was cruel and made the conflict worser. The attack on Pearl Harbor was a huge conflict for America. The conflict was still going on while they were having war, for both Japan and America. So they have their shares of conflicts. However, they made two compromise. They decided to go to war and settle it. And the second compromise was when Japan surrendered and signed the peace treaty.

What conflict led Japan to attack the us and European colonies in southeast Asia?

What did American and British strategists decide to do immediately after Pearl Harbor?

British and American strategists believed it would be better to concentrate on Germany, the leader of the Axis, first. then deal with Japan. Unwittingly, Hitler helped make the strategy a reality by declaring war on the United States, which had expressed no desire to fight Germany up until that point.
