He is referred to as a Jew (Jewish). You probably think I am crazy but Jesus was born into the Jewish religion. Though he was Jewish he started doing his own practices and he got some people to do it with him. He was then persecuted by the Romans and the Jewish but his followers later founded the Christian religion which is made up of the practices he made.
