the vikings were people who would go out on raids and pillage distant villages. Back in their homes though, they were farmers and fishers who were very skilled woodsmen. They almost always owned slaves who did all the heavy farm work for them. They had people called skalds who kept their history/storys and they would just memorise it, they would not write it down
vikings were very mean they like too kill people sometimes they eat animails

note: NEVER MEET A VIKING.

NO

American eats animals 1st of all, and they aren't all mean. Some are farmers and traders. 2nd, they don't all kill, mostly raid.

note: You won't be able to meet a viking anyways.

It varied just as people today do.

Ranging anywhere from the lightest pale skin, to olive skin.

Hair wise, it was long. They had many colored hair, mostly Brown as typical Scandinavians have now. Among brown were Blond, Red, and Black hair.

Many Vikings weren't pure Scandinavians. The Vikings raided many countries in Europe and in the Middle-East and often would bring back women from different countries resulting in a mixture of people.

Huge. Huge sword. Huge horns. Long blond/red hair and beard. Also carry shields. And take your gold. If nor gold your pants. Not hat. Just pants. Actually that's a really exaggerated 9th century steriotype viking. Helpful idea though. I'm a viking. specifically 62,5% Icelandic, 12,5% Danish, 12,5% Faroese, 12,5% Swedish and 87,42% Dutch viking. ;). But they didn't really just take your gold like that. They were traders :D

A typical "Viking" family was a farmstead, and could include the extended family as well. Grandparents, aunts and uncles on both sides of the family, etc. Not everyone was a viking during the Viking Age.
