Not a single documentary claims that Hitler directly ordered the Holocaust.
yes, but as they did not know that the Holocaust was going to happen, the question is moot.
this is not ever going to happen again in live because there our allies.
One was to pretend/hope that it was not going to happen to them.
we havent learned anything at all from the holocaust only on how to improve on it, the holocaust is going on all over the world and will happen here too(england)
Most people had no idea what was going on until after the war or towards the end.
Some of the fads in the 1930's included such things as the drowning of there first born, then going on rampages to kill Justin Beiber, and last but not least the holocaust.
No, the Holocaust ended in 1945.
No, there is only one Holocaust. There are many persecutions going on, but calling them Holocaust denigrates the name Holocaust. Holocaust is not a name to be used loosely, it refers to that specific wipeout of Jews.
he was around 15 when the holocaust was going on.
Many victims of the Holocaust thought they were going to be deported to work camps to be used as slave labour. Some guessed what was really going to happen, but there was little they could do to resist the Nazis.
Many people were separated in the Holocaust, which made most people lose their will to keep going.
The Holocaust took place during World War 2.
the fact that the people were afraid of Hitler was one reason why the Holocaust was allowed to happen. Also due to the fact that not many citizens knew or understood what was going on. It was mostly ignorance.---However, the ignorance was wilful - on all sides. Neither the Allies nor ordinary Germans wanted to know ... Bear in mind that stopping the Holocaust would have been almost impossible. Most of the killing took place in eastern Europe, which was remote and, in World War 2, largely inaccessible to Britain and the U.S.
i don't know. Sorry :(
No, that would be impossible.
the Holocaust was from 1939-1945
just don't read the book, or don't watch the film. It is easy to prevent yourself from going into the Holocaust if you so wish.

It's not really a new question, but the holocaust certainly caused a lot of people who perhaps wouldn't have given it a thought otherwise, to ask, "how can a loving god allow this to happen?" It also happens to be an excellent example of what "begging the question" means. In other words, if God is omnipotent, omniscient, and loving, (and that is the assumption), how do we account for all the misery that innocent people suffer? God knows it's going to happen, (omniscience), can stop it, (omnipotence), but does nothing, (loving?). Either you conclude that there is no God, or you have to produce some pretty slippery excuses.
There was no real purpose to the holocaust, Hitler simply despised all Jews and decided that this was how he was going to eliminate them.
