It was bad. Immagen you are on a boat with 30 other guys medics, infantry, mechanical engeners. Your friends. Then they call out 10 seconds your heart is racing then the gate swings down the opening of the gate is about 5 or 6 feet wide and there is constant fire from machine guns at the boat. Some boats lost all there men before one even touched the beach. Once on the beach you have 2 options stay find cover and die (if it's good covor you might live if you stay down) or move on up the beach and have a chance of living or dieing -Cobu
The day of the landings
mate(uncork&pork). feed. repeat. :D
What supplies was used for D-Day?
D-Day was June 6, 1944 - the Allied invasion of German-occupied France in Normandy. The code word for D-Day was Mickey Mouse.(Note: D-Day is simply a codeword, like H-Hour.)
The Nazis were the defending force in D-day.
because the D in D-day looks like a happy smile in a =D
A wedding day can feel like a military D-Day to most parents of the Bride and Groom. It really is not a D-Day.
"D" in d-day stands for . . . 'day', and it refers to the day on which a major war attack will start. If it is capitalized, like "D-Day", then it refers to the Allies 1944 invasion of Europe in World War II.
No it just stands for Day. like H-Hour, D-Day just signifies the day upon which the event/operation will occur.

D-Day is an alliteration for clear communication like H-Hour
No there wasen't but the landings were kinda like it was on D-DAY just on a diffrent beach. It was also just the Americans. Not like on D-DAY that was also British and Canadians.Iwo Jima the Japanese didn't have enough supplies for the invasion like the Germans did on D-DAY the Japanese still had howitzers and machine guns and tanks to but not as much as the Americans did.
in 1943 or something like that.
24 hours, like any other day
D-Day does not 'resemble' anything. It was the world's greatest seaborne invasion and there has never been anything else like it.
You can use it if you like, but it was not a rem in common use about D-Day.
