Elephants have two tusks, which are made of ivory. The tusks grow to the right and the left sides of their trunks. Elephants can use their tusks to fight and to dig. People used to hunt elephants so that they could get their tusks. Ivory was used to make beautiful jewelry and statues. It is against the law to hunt elephants now, because hunting them made them endangered animals.
I don't know but I do know that killing beautiful elephants just for the raw material is wrong. I am studying this in English at school and there was one picture that was wrong and disgusting. Poachers are wrong. They shouldn't do this. It causes great pain for the elephant. Poaching any wild animal is wrong and illegeal but people still do it anyway. I dislike this topic terribly but I need to study it as it is going to be part of my grade.
Anyways this is a guess but people could make souvenier jewellery out of ivory. I don't know what else. Sorry. Try and put it into another search engine.
nothing, Ivory is banned in all civilized countries.
Piano keys get their nickname "ivories" because they were once made with ivory. Other things made with ivory were billard balls, cane handles, gun grips, and jewelry.
