The German Luftwaffe fielded a wide variety of aircraft by various maufactuers in WWII in every category. Some of them include the fighters, Me 109, 210, 262, and Komet by Messerschmitt, the Fw 152 and 190 by Focke-Wulf and Heinkel's He 51. The close air support category includes the famous Junkers 87 Stuka dive bomber and the Henschel Hs 123 and 129. Bombers included the Dornier 217, the Heinkel HE 111 and 177, and the Junkers Ju 88. The Fieseler Storch was very similar to the US Piper Cubs and both were used as artillery spotters. Messerschmitt created the world's largest transport called the Gigant until Howard Hughes took the Spruce Goose into the air but the Junkers Ju 252 was the backbone of the transport services. The Focke-Wulf Condor was used as an Anti Submarine Warfare and long range patrol aircraft to seek out the convoys and coordinate attacks by the U-Boats. This is a long list but it includes less than one half of the aircraft models in use by the Germans.
EDIT: ME 262 being the first jet fighter at the end of the war.
The name was "Deutsche Wehrmacht" meaning German defense forces.
Another AnswerThe name of the German army during world war two was 'Heer'.The 'Wehrmacht' was name given to the German armed forces, comprising the three services: the army (Heer), air force (Luftwaffe), and the navy (Kriegsmarine).
The fourth service, which came under the Wehrmacht's strategic and tactical control, but not their disciplinary control, was the 'Waffen-SS'. This, of course, was part of the SS.
The German Airforce was (and still is) known as the Luftwaffe.
It was the Luftwaffe, which simply means "Air Force".

The british air force is known as the RAF; royal air force. The Deutsche Luftwaffe or Luftwaffe (German: "Air Arm", IPA: ['luftvafə]) is the commonly used term for the German air force. The Royal Air Force. They are still called this today.
The plane used to transport the President is always called Air Force One, irrespective of which particular plane he's in. It is generally a Boeing 747-200 modified with special equipment such in-flight refueling. To be more technical, it is Air Force One if he is on an Air Force Plane, Marine One when he is on the helicopter, or Navy One if he is on a Navy plane. The "one" gives the aircraft priority in aviation hierarchy (the smaller the number, the higher the priority).
The plane that carries the President of the United States of America is always called Air Force One. ANY plane he transfers to adopts the name while the President is on board, while all other planes he had been on revert to their standard 'name' (such as a '747').
The Air Force is Responsible for Air, Space, and Cyberspace. They do everything from Air Lifts to Stopping cyber attacks. From Launching Satellites to Spraying the rivers and valleys for Mosquitoes. As you can see the Responsibilities of the Air Force are far reaching. If you really want to know what the Air Force does, I recommend visiting the Air Force Web Site at airforce.com
No. Air force one is only for the current US President. However, after the inauguration of Obama, the air plane that usually acts as air force one does offer to transport Bush to whatever he's home destination is one last time.
