What effect did the Roosevelt Corollary have on foreign policy in the US?
The Roosevelt Corollary is an amplification of the Monroe Doctrine. Where the Monroe Doctrine simply says that any European efforts expand their colonial influence in the Americas would be, thenceforth, considered an act of aggression against the US, requiring military intervention. The Roosevelt Corollary amplifies this by further stating that the US has a right to be proactive in the prevention of such expansion. What this boils down to is that it lays the groundwork for making the US military into an international police force and expanding US military influence. The Corollary also lays the groundwork for Truman Doctrine, which is directed at Communism, and for the Cold War.

Truman doctrine and Marshall plan supported what US policy?
President Truman adopted a foreign policy called containment- It was a policy directed at blocking Soviet influences and stopping the expansion of communism. Added: The Marshall Plan was a program aimed at assisting our Allies and the conquered nations to rebuild their economies and the living standards of their civilian populations after WWII. Although in reality basically a MASSIVE aid plan, at the same time, it had the effect of also helping this country by keeping industry and agriculture functioning at top capacity in order to do so and, therefore, was able to absorb the massive numbers of young former military members coming back home who would all have been in need of jobs.
What is the difference between Russian communism and Vietnamese communism?
Russian Communism (the Soviet Union) is a Traditional Communist State and Vietnamese Communism (People's Republic of Vietnam) is a Leninist Communist State. Traditional Communist States: Traditional Communism requires an autocratic government ruled by the Communist Party, but primarily guided by individual politicians. The government is required to collectivize private property and redistribute wealth. Stalin's Soviet Union and Cuba are often seen as examples of traditional communism. Leninist Communist States: China and Vietnam are Leninist Communist States. Leninist Communism is the political theory that a single party called the Communist Party rules the government and governs all affairs as opposed to individual politicians. Although the single party in a Leninist Communist State is the the Communist Party, the party need not practice Communist political theory. In both China and Vietnam, there is a state-directed, right-wing economic and political theory.
