What was the conclusion for the Civil War?

For the first time, African-Americans fought in a war. Since the South's economy was destroyed, the North's economy grew. There were many economic and amendment struggles after the war. The South lost its cotton trade with Britain. Reconstruction began after the war was over. Because of the war, hundreds of thousands of Americans were killed.
