ww2 was fought differently b/c in ww1 they really didn't have any tanks to speak of, and the tanks they did have were practically usless in battle. for example most ww1 tanks had 4 main guns these guns required crews of about 7-10, and if a tank got caught in a trench it was all over. however in ww2 they created better tanks and they could clear trenches.

Also in ww2, planes and bombers were launched from Carriers at sea. In ww1 Biplanes were used mostly as reconisance and weren't used for dogfights until 1917 and carriers weren't around back then Also the Blitzkrieg (lightning war) was used during ww2 by the Germans. That was simply striking with everything you had as fast as possible. Because of the trenches in ww1, Blitzkrieg was impossible because once troops got into no mans land, they would be cut down by machine gun fire and mortars.

well world war one was very diffirent from World War 2. world war one was fought in the treanches were gas warfare became a big primary weapon at the time. world war 2 was fought mostly in the air and ground not so much as in the treanches. air battle was the biggest primary choice of battle in world war 2. also world war 2 was the first war that the untied states had the CIA help in a undercover war. they would move deep into Germany and pretend to be German soldiers to gain info.

There were many...

World war one

- a small use of tanks, naval and areal warfare

- Nearly all the fighting took place in Europe

- trench warfare

- The people actually wanted war.

World war two

- fighting all across the globe

- 'Total warfare'... civilians were equally effected (Blitz, Holocaust)

- The Fatherland actually fell instead of surrendering

- Mainly fighting because Hitler wanted to purify the world (of Jews, slavs, communists, ect ) so he invade countries for his own personal revenged of the Treaty of Versailles's, French, non- Aryan Germans.

because wald war 1 is the war that ahppened first but the giermans did not take unieted kingdom so they triyd another war and it was world war 2!

For one, the nations involved were different - the Ottoman Empire did not exist for World War II, and Japan and other Asian nations were involved. France had better defenses, though they didn't help due to Germany's change of invasion technique, and several nations fought wars on two fronts - Germany, the United States, and the Soviet Union was preparing to. Perhaps a more major change was that the equipment made much more of a difference in WWII than in WWI. By WWII, airplanes were not just for recon, but also for bombing, fighting, and troop transport. Additionally, in the pacific war, airplanes and aircraft carriers had a much bigger effect than battleships. Tanks became practical, and even pretty good, and machine guns were much more reliable. Submarines (U-Boats) were a powerful force, and Germany had crude missiles that they used against London. Also, instead of trench warfare, which resulted in many injuries, illnesses, and made troops a target for gassing, World War II was fast-moving for the most part. Also, while in World War I, the main European aggressor, Germany, treated its own people well, they did not in World War II.

World War 1 was made up of trench fighting, with systematic trenches being constructed and troops charging across "No Man's Land". World War 2 was a faster war, with tanks being used in a much more modern way.

World War 1 was different because WW1 was the most destructive war there has ever been. The amount of deaths that occurred in that war is more than all the other wars deaths combined.
