China and Korea spread Confucian ideals to Japan which heavily influenced Japanese society and education. The Japanese writing system currently consists of and has consisted of a mix of indigenous characters and Chinese characters. Rice farming and woodblock printing were also introduced from Korea to Japan. Besides this, there are numerous cultural impacts spread from China and Korea to Japan. Many of these aspects can be seem throughout East (and in some cases Southeast) Asian cultures.

Culturally Korea was not so much different from China. Since Korea came from mainland china, they shared a lot of culture such as customs, religions, foods, clothes, political system, and so on until Korea developed their own culture. Korea also used Chinese character until they built Hangul and many words of both language are similar.
