Box of Rain
Actually Jerry I think PLayed with the Jerry Garcia Band after performing the last show with The Grateful Dead. So I think it is a different song than Box of Rain.

Box of Rain was the last song Jerry played with the Grateful Dead in concert. This was at Soldiers Field - Chicago, IL on July 9, 2005. However, The Jerry Garcia Band played with Melvin Seals on July 25, 2005 at the The Bluegrass Brewing Company in Louisville, KY. This was his last public show, and the final song was an Encore: How Sweet It Is.

Some songs sung by Janis Joplin are Mercedes Benz, Cry Baby, Down on Me, Half Moon, Trust Me, Summertime and Kozmic Blues.
"Weeping Willow" is the last song he wrote alone. There were just a few more and the very last was "Wrong is Never Right" which he wrote with Gunther Schuller.
Me & Bobby Mcgee.
Yes. Janis changed Bobby McGee to a male character though. The Grateful Dead also played the song with Bobby as a female. After Janis died the Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter wrote a song commemorating Janis Called 'Birds Song'
