The main purpose was for John Adams to go for the rights of women. Abigail Adams also didn't see John Adams for a long time so since they didn't have any telephones back then, Abigail Adams wrote letters to John Adams for women to be equal and fair just like men (women's rights in particular) which made Abigail Adams famous as well as a good written student full of interest.

To start, John Adams' purpose for the United States of America was to give equal rights to every soul. John Adams was also an important part in the creation of the Massachusetts constitution. John Adams at a very young age was taught to read and write by his father. John Adams was home schooled. Adams then went into an elementary school. He then got a scholarship for Harvard University and studied law which helped him build up to rule America.

John Adams basic purpose was to have equal rights to every soul including woman.
