Is it "Corrupt Bargain"? Right?
In 1824, Jackson received the most popular votes (but not a majority) and the electoral votes were split four ways. Since no candidate received a majority, the election was decided by the House of Representatives, who chose Adams. There were some claims of corruption after Adams appointed Clay Secretary of State after he had given his state's support to him.
Secretary of State
From the Federalist Party... John Adams. He was from Massachusetts, his running companion for vice president was Thomas Pickney. From the Democratic- Republican Party... Thomas Jefferson. He was representing Virginia. His companion was Aaron Burr. From this given information we know that John Adams and Thomas Pickney won the election with 71 electoral votes, 35,726 popular votes and 9 states carried!I hope this helps!! :)

In 1800 I would have voted for Jefferson, provided I knew what I know now. The alien and sedition acts were too repressive for me. Also, given a choice between a man from Massachusetts and one from Virginia, I would probably go with the Virginian, since I lived in Virginia for 44 years.
Henry Clay was appointed Secretary of State, seemingly because of his help in getting Adams elected. This prompted the cry of "corrupt bargain" by the Jackson supporters.,
A loser's speech is a speech given by the one who does not win a contest, election, etc. A good example is the speech given by the one who does not win a presidential election.
It is not. Unless you are talking about a specific election that was given a name, it's just a regular noun.
