Captain Henry Morgan was a Welsh privateer who became a famous pirate in the Caribbean during the late 17th century. He was known for his daring raids and for capturing Spanish ships and settlements. Morgan eventually retired and was later knighted, becoming the Lieutenant Governor of Jamaica.
