This question cannot be answered given the structure of the US Army in WW2. EVERY US Army battalion, and there were hundreds of them, had a EASY Company, and a BAKER, and a FOX, and a ABLE company.
During WW2 around 18.2 million soldiers served in the German military. Im not sure about the US army.

If it's signed by a WW2 US fighter ACE such as Pappy Boyington (US Marine Corps), or Richard Bong (Top US Ace of WW2-US Army Air Force), or any other US WWII "Ace", the item WILL have some value to it. How much depends on condition, authenticity, and how desperate the buyer is to have it.
The military organizational problem of the Union in the Western theater was too complex, with too many "departments. General US Grant pointed this out early in the war.
Matrix structure
See website: Pearl Harbor Attack See website: US Military Ranks (US Army, US Navy) The US Air Force did NOT exist during WW2. It was part of the US Army. The US Marine Corps is part of the US Navy. However, it's (officer) rank structure is the same as the US Army's.

Possibly, because right in the middle of WW2, the US Army Air CORPS changed it's name to US Army Air FORCE...and then two years AFTER WW2, in 1947, the US Army Air Force separated from the US Army and became it's own separate branch of service; the USAF. So, from 1941 thru 1947, there were THREE US Air Forces! Any US serviceman being discharged, promoted, using his GI bill to purchase a house, etc. may have joined the US Army Air CORPS in 1941, fought WW2 while a member of the US Army Air FORCE...then did his "twenty years" and retired from the US Air Force in 1961.
Over 16 million servicemen were in uniform during WW2, of which about 11 million were in the US Army (the US Air Force was part of the US Army).
The U.S. and russia would have been at a stalemate because Russia's army is bigger but poorly equiped and we had a huge air force compared to them. Also if we did fight, Germany would have helped us as well as many other countries such as Britain and France.
