Why was the reason Attack on Pearl Harbor?

A small reason why Pearl Harbor was attacked was because the Japanese felt very threatened by the American's even though they were not in the war yet and the Japanese figured that they would attack first.

also we made an embargo to oil going to Japan. the reason being is that japan was trying to inflate prices on valuable goods that we enbarked from there country. feeling threatened they attacked our western naval fleet, hoping to wipe out are capaility to controll the pacific waters so that they could advance accros the water in order to invade our country, to eveuntally occupy, or make a treaty. they were not necessary threatened by us, more so Hitler, and Stalin. they felt since the Hitler (at the was winning the war) they would take advantage of the opportunity to advance there place in the world as a world power, and rid themselves of communist persuctuion from Stalin.

The reason for Pearl Harbor is not completely known, but there may have been some good reasons-

1. The US cut shipments of iron, steel, and oil because Japan was planing on taking over several countries, and Japan might have wanted to get them back.

2. Japan wanted to expand their Empire, and they wanted to neutralize the US fleet so there would be no risk of the US strong Navy.

3. US was exporting supplies to Europe to the French army, and Japan didn't like that very well.
