Mark's Gospel divides the last day of Jesus' life into eight three-hour segments. He began the Last Supper at just six in the evening of the day of the Passover; went to pray in the Garden of Gethsemene at nine o'clock, was betrayed at midnight; taken before the Sanhedrin at three o'clock in the morning and before Pontius Pilate at six o'clock. He was nailed to the cross at nine in the morning and died at three in the afternoon.
John's Gospel changes the time that Jesus was sent to be crucified to 12 noon (John 19:14). This was important for theological reasons and also to minimise the time that Jesus spent suffering on the cross.
Jesus was crucified at 9 o'clock in the morning and died at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. We know this because Mark's Gospel, the first gospel to be written, divides the last twenty four hours of Jesus' life up into eight periods of just three hours each. These include:
According to the gospel accounts, the crucifixion began at what we would call 9.00am and Jesus died at 3.00pm
Mt:27:45: Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.
Day, he had to be removed from the cross before Friday at sunset when the Sabbath began.
Good Friday is the day on which we remember Jesus being crucified. In the Gospels, Jesus was crucified on the day before the Sabbath (which was Saturday) to rise on the third day afterwards (on the Sunday). Therefore as Jesus was crucified on a Friday, the day on which we remember the crucifixion, is always a Friday.
good Friday

This sentence was said by Jesus when He was Crucified and it was told to the thief crucified beside Him (on His right). It means that after the death of Jesus and the death of the thief crucified in His right, this thief will be with Jesus in the paradise as it is the place to which christians, good Christians, go after their death as a place to wait before the last day and after this day, good people will go from the paradise to the Eternal life with Jesus in the Heavens.Jesus said this to the thief crucified to His right because he accepted Jesus as a God and a Savior...
