∙ 14y agothe conflict in Bridge to Terabithia is that after Leslie and Jesse make a great friendship, and after theymake Terabithia, one Saturday Jesse gets a call from his fave teacher asking him if he wants 2 go with her to a big painting museum. Jesse loves painting, gets his sleepy mom's still-asleep-not-paying-attention permission, then goes, not wanting to invite Leslie. when he gets back he finds out that Leslie drowned in the river you have to cross to get into Terabithia. sad story, but my fave movie.

∙ 14y agoJess (the main character) is top runner in his class. Until Leslie moves in the house next door. When the boys are in race at school, Leslie joins in and beats Jess. Jess goes home with his younger sister, Maybelle.
Jess starts to see that Leslie and him are very alike after a while. They create this magical place Leslie names Terabithia. (They cross a river on an old rope.)
So Jess goes to the museum with his teacher for the day. When he comes back, everyone is crying. He later found out that Leslie hit her head and died in the creek when the rope broke.
