Well basically in ww1 someone got assaassinated.....made lots of countries mad.....they went at each other.....which would have been fine and good....except larger countries such as Britain and the USA had pacts with some of these countries so this set off a chain reaction with lots of countries in Europe and soon eveyone was fighting
in ww2 Hitler tried to use counquest to pull a ruined Germany out from the shadows.........not many people intervened at first which is why Hitler became so peowerful......eventually japan joined Germany.......America had to intervene because with htiler closing in on France and Great Britain he had now bacome a threat to the us as well.........so you know the rest of the story.....if we had not intervened its entirely possible that Germany and Hitler would have accomplished hisgoal of world dominion........
hitlers main mistake was spreading himself out too far and making war on too many fronts.......if he had taken things one at a time he would have succeeded
This is a ridiculously broad question. So I'll be brief.
World War One was primarily a war of attrition, Germany's initial plan was to quickly attack France and take Paris when this failed the 'Race to the Sea' happened where a series of outflanking battles were fought trying to get to the key sea ports. During this, trenches grew up from the alps to the sea cutting French and Belgium almost in half. Russia was also invaded. Small battles continued almost continuously until 1917 where millions of lives were lost. Then the Germans launched their 'Spring Offensive' it was worryingly successful until the German army came within 40 miles of Paris and ran out of steam. The allies responded quickly and efficiently and began the 'Hundred Days' until Germany was knocked back almost out of France before Germany agreed to sign an armistice.
World War Two was less so. Hitler used a strategic tactic 'Blitzkrieg' which used stunning force and speed to quickly conquer France. Unlike in World War One Germany conquered France very quickly and stopped Britain from entering the war in Europe. Shortly after Germany (stupidly) invaded Russia. They were making good progress until they hit Stalingrad a bitter battle was fought over it where the Russians very effectively destroyed the German elite army. Germany had lost the war in Russia. At the same time Germany was planning on invading Britain however the RAF was too strong. The Luftwaffe launched an assault on Britain, but with the aid of radar the RAF successfully beat them off sustaining heavy losses. This meant Germany couldn't invade Britain. When America entered the war D-day began to be planned. Germany was slowly losing and an amphibious assault was launched (D-day) heavy losses were sustained on both sides and Russia was also pushing West. Germany however did not surrender and when the allies reached Berlin they devastated it.
This is a scandalously simplified account which misses out all the politics not to mention the Holocaust.
WW1 took place from the 28 of July 1914 to the 11 of November 1918.WW2 took place from September 1, 1939 to September 2, 1945.
Ww1 1914-1918.
Ww2 1939-1945.

The two wars were the first and the second world wars.
both wars
its war
World War 1 was described at the time as the war to end all wars. Then came World War 2, the Korean War, the Vietnam War etc etc.Name a year in the history of the world when there has been no war.World War I.
World War 1 and World War 2 were the last declared wars that the US participated in.I'm sure however that there have been small regional warsafter World War 2, that the US did not participate in that were declared wars by the regional participants in those wars.
The two wars were the first and the second world wars.
Because it is interesting and world wars are very important in human history. Also because wars are the foundations for change and everyone should know at least a small amount of war history.
The War to End all Wars, the greatest loss in life in modern military history. World War I was the bloodiest conflict in the history of America.
Some wars were called World Wars because they were fought with a variety of countries all around the world in different places. An example would be World War 1.
There are two I could think of: 1)World Wars 2)It is the center of Reformation I only need 1 more but I can't thing right now.
World War 1
no
Bridging World History - 2004 World History and Identity 1-26 was released on: USA: 2004
Good Question, would there be a France?, would World Wars 1 & 2 have ever happened, and what about Napoleon and the Napoleonic Wars, The French Revolution, would America still be under UK control. Makes you think doesn't it.
both wars
because: 1. It was supposed last 4 months but went on for 4 years. 2. It was the sixth deadliest conflict in world history. 3. It was supposed to end all wars but it didn't. hope this helped.
Yes world war 1 was suppose to put an end to all wars.
