I think they are P or C Waves
no.....
S waves, Surface waves, or Shear waves cause the MOST damage (and i don't think 'C' waves are real), as they shake things sideways and/or up and down.
S Waves, or Secondary Waves, are the most powerful and destructive kind of seismic wave. However, S Waves cannot travel through liquids the way that other kinds of waves can.

The p and s waves do the most damage on the surface
Surface waves

Ultraviolet radiation does that.
Destructive interference

Electromagnetic. There are other possible answers as well, but this is the most straightforward.
The next type of seismic wave to arrive after the P-wave is the S-wave.
Surface waves
Tsunami
surface waves
tsunami, tidal wave or a water surge.
A tsunami
Transverse Wave.
Stationary wave.

Ultraviolet radiation does that.
First Wave Complete Destruction was created in 1981-05.
earthquakes can shift things around, like landforms, and mess around with the climate. they are very hazardous. landforms: trees around, can get on telephone poles- fire flooding: climate and levee breaks, or such- The first wave of an earthquake is a strong up ward moving wave known as the primary wave, or Transverse wave. This first wave causes little destruction but can be the most forceful The second, longer wave has a side to side movement, this wave is known as a Longitudinal wave. This wave causes most of the destruction The first wave basically really mucks up the ground, it causes stress fractures in the crust of our earth. The second wave then sakes the already craked ground until land slides, trees or buildings fall over. When certain things under a house suddenly get ripped up, things start to cetch on fire. Floods happen because the levies and dikes brake during the second wave.
