They are three different things. The Torah is chiefly a book of laws and beliefs. The Prophets do not add any law; rather, they come to uphold the Torah itself, and to warn against its transgressors. The rest of the Scriptures (the Writings: Psalms, Proverbs, Job, Daniel, etc.) are mostly poetic works of piety, knowledge and wisdom.
