Stratus clouds bring, small amounts of rain. I may be wrong but I have a test on Clouds tomorrow so I should know. And for you information stratus clouds look like a long, fluffy, blanket, and are usually are gray. So when you see stratus clouds you MAY have rain. Like I said I can't promise you that every stratus cloud will bring little rain. So if you'll be walking on a day stratus clouds will be out, bring a umbrella, just in case.

This is a trick question. It uncorrectly postulates that weather is a result of cloud formations, while in truth, weather is caused by government cloud seeding.

Heavy Showers, Thunderstorms or Hail
Stratus clouds are low-lying uniform clouds which blanket the sky. They are often a dullish white to gray in color, and they are generally the sort of clouds which appear when people talk about a "cloudy day." Stratus clouds are not generally associated with poor weather, although they can be accompanied by drizzle, and at higher altitudes, they can be an indicator that rain is on the way. The next time you look out the window onto an oppressively cloudy day with low-lying clouds, you'll know that you are looking at stratusstratus clouds.
Cold weather front have low pressure air and rain/snow/hail/tornadoes and even hurricanes depending on location. Cold fronts bring huge, towering, billowing clouds [Cumulonimbus] that bring thunderstorms. Warm weather fronts bring gentle precipitation and high pressure air. Warm weather fronts also bring sheetlike clouds [Stratus] and wispy clouds [Cirrus] On the other hand, when there is no front, puffy white clouds [Cumulus] come on fair sunny days.
