I don't think Mussolini really thought it through that far. he had some vague idea of a new Roman Empire but his plans weren't really very specific. Michael Montagne This is just speculation, but Mussolini probably wanted a sphere of influence in the Mediterranan and the Balkans. Italy also wanted an over-seas empire with colonies to bring in raw materials and a market for finished goods.

∙ 11y agoMainly to stay safe. They wanted to carry on importation and tried to start an army. The army only reached 300 000. They stayed out of the war to see which way it went! Hope this helps as I am doing this in history and find literally nothing!! :)

∙ 11y agoBasically the same thing as Germany's goal, except they didn't want to exterminate all the Jews like Germany did. Mainly all they wanted was more territory, feeling that they hadn't gained enough through the Treaty of Versailles.
