What were Jesus' main teachings how did he present them?

To call sinners to repentance:

  • I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." [Luke 5:32]

To call the Jews away from idol worshiping:

  • Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.'" [Matthew 4:10]
  • Mark [12:29] And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments [is,] Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: [12:30] And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

To love thy neighbour as thyself:

  • Mark [12:31] And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

To believe that there is only one God:

  • Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent [John 17:3]

Jesus presented all the above to the best of his ability and left an alibi:
  • There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the last day [John 12:48]
