John Curtin served between 1941 to 1945 and is often considered our greatest prime minister. His greatest achievement that he is remembered for is leading Australia through the dark times of WW2. After Britain abandoned Australia and fled like cowards, John Curtin united the country and to the fight to our enemy.
Sadly, John Curtin had a heart attack and died in office before he saw an end to the war.
