Neville Chamberlain's father, Joseph Chamberlain, had daughter Beatrice (1862) and son (Joseph) Austen (1863) by his first wife Harriet Kenrick, who died shortly after Austen's birth. He then married Harriet's cousin, Florence Kenrick, who gave birth to (Arthur) Neville (1869), Ida (1870), Hilda (1871), and Ethel (1873), before dying during the birth of a fifth child in 1875. Both Joseph Chamberlain and Austen Chamberlain were very prominant politicians.
