I think that he believed that every child deserves a chance to smile and that no matter how old you are, you will always have an inner child to help you through.

Walt Disney was a religious man but never went to church. Although he sent his children to Sunday School, he never forced them to choose between being a Catholic or Protestant. Disney believed that religion and entertainment should be kept separate, and never made a religious film.

Walt's father was a strong supporter of Socialist politics, but bad experiences with labor unions in 1941 drove him toward more conservative beliefs. He was proudly patriotic and made several pro-Ally, anti-Nazi Cartoons during World War 2.

Now, he was strict with his employees but his animators and other employees Will tell you he was a good Man... he did hate satanists, he did not allow them into The Parks, Which I totally agree with! But on A Travel Channel TV Special one of his Imageenears gets teary Eyed during an interview when he talks about Mr. Disney's Death. I hope This Answer was helpful to you.
