You probably know about a lot of the artistic accomplishments of Leonardo da vinci such as the Mona Lisa however he also started revolutions in music, engineering, and science of the natural world. He invented an armoured cart or chariot. He sketched pictures of what he thought to be the human muscle frame and actually wasn't far off mark. He even designed the first helicopter. You may know that Leonardo grew up in the time called the Renaissance, a French word meaning rebirth. It was prospering time in which many accomplishments were made in art, music, science, architecture, engineering, etc. and so it isn't as surprising as you may imagine that Leonardo was so successful. I hope I answered your question.

He made the first thing to fly and he was a very famous artist. Among the works created by Leonardo in the 16th century is the small portrait known as the Mona Lisa or "la Gioconda," the laughing one. In the present era it is arguably the most famous painting in the world. Its fame rests, in particular, on the elusive smile on the woman's face, its mysterious quality brought about perhaps by the fact that the artist has subtly shadowed the corners of the mouth and eyes so that the exact nature of the smile cannot be determined

Paint. Mona Lisa wasn't suppose to be as famous as it was. But it became a very famous painting.
