What were the connections between the native American conflicts and government policies?
The three levels of government are federal, state, and local. The federal government sets policies for the entire country, the state government sets policies for the state, and the local government sets policies for the city. The three branches of government are legislative, executive, and judicial. The legislative branch creates the law, the executive branch enforces the law, and the judicial branch interprets the law.
Generally speaking, public policies in any government, such as law enforcement policies or creating & maintaining a military, require funding. A government cannot enforce its own public policies without spending the money needed to do so. This is accomplished by taxation. By different types of tax policies a government receives the monies necessary to run itself and enforce public policies.
Government policies are rules and regulations which are some preestablished by the constitution, but many have been instated over the years. You may call them laws. These policies might apply to government workers of any level, or citizens. A government could be as small as a town or township, city, state, or an entire country.
