It wouldn't be good. It would eventually heal but not correctly and you would eventually be worse off. To fix a healed broken bone the doctors will have to break it again to get it to it's correct position.

I’m dealing with that now, I didn’t wanna go to hospital so I thought it would heal on it’s own. It got infected and now I need bone grafting because when infection gets into the bone it causes dead bone that doesn’t heal. You can have a broken jaw that never heals even if you get antibiotics the damage to the inside of the bone is done. It will take six weeks of IV antibiotics Or three months on oral before they even do the surgery. Your looking at four to five months of hell if you leave a broken jaw untreated. Go to doctor soon as it happens even if your not sure. It will take that antibiotics time of your help and it can be treated immediately.

Two surgeries to clean the infection then three months of antibiotics before the surgeon even fixes the broken jaw so looking at 5 months of wired jaw and antibiotics!
