Your blood would not clot. So if you got a papercut, you would bleed copiously. If you got a bruise, it could be quite harmful. And if you got hit on the head by something (light) you could be seriously injured from internal bleeding.

Without platelets in the blood, a simple cut could cause you to bleed to death. If you have a Platelet low count, I think you can go to a doctor once a month to get platelets inserted into your bloodstream to help you seal cuts.

This is actually a valid problem in fish-heavy diet cultures. Inuit people, for example, (the tribes that live in Alaskan regions and pre-dominantly ice fish) often have problems bleeding out too quickly from minor cuts. Fish oil is often prescribed to heart problem patients to help their blood stream keep from clotting. However, for pescetarians or indigenous peoples who subsist heavily on fish oil, can quickly bleed because of the breakdown of platelets that fish oil thins.

When the body does not produce enough platelets, or the platelets are thinned/demolished by an outside source, relatively minor cuts that scratch the dermis and a few unimportant veins, can become very serious indeed for major blood loss.
