When you boil a liquid substance beyond it's boiling point then most substances will go through a process called "Evaporation" which means it transforms into a gas. Going from a gas to a liquid is called "Condensation" and condensation only happens when the substance's temperature goes down it's boiling point.
When an element is heated the atoms which make up the element will begin to move more rapidly and, in some cases, cause the element to either melt or evaporate. An example of this is when you boil water. The atoms in the combined hydrogen and oxygen molecules begin to spread apart and move more violently, causing it to evaporate and become water vapor.
The molecules will vibrate as fast as ever and begin to separate quickly. The molecules on the surface of the water and inside the water will erupt and start to become a gas.
What do you think it does...it melts, that's why it's called a melting point
It boils and creates condensation.
it changes into a gas
Well the element would have gained so much energy that the atoms in the element are becoming very 'excited' and moving about more. Nothing would happen apart from an increase in energy if you were heating the element above its melting point but as this question it heating over boiling point it would turn into a gas. Any Element has a solid and gas state.
Evaporation
Below boiling point of water, water gets changed from liquid form into vapour form. This is called as vaporization. Thus change of state is possible even below boiling point. An liquid can be changed into solid at its freezing point. This is also a change of state.
When its temperature falls below the boiling point.
The transition from the liquid or solid phase to the gas phase.
No; this process is called evaporation.
If it happens below the boiling point it is called evaporation. At the boiling point it is boiling.
The vaporization that takes place below the surface of liquid is called boiling. The other one that takes place at the surface of a liquid is called evaporation
A liquid starts to evaporate at its boiling point. Boiling is the action of the liquid turning into a gas (evaporation)
Boiling
The conversion of a liquid to a gas or vapor below its boiling point is called evaporation.
Evaporation
Boiling takes place and it leads to the movement of hot water upwards and the movement of cold water downwards.
Below boiling point of water, water gets changed from liquid form into vapour form. This is called as vaporization. Thus change of state is possible even below boiling point. An liquid can be changed into solid at its freezing point. This is also a change of state.
cool it below the boiling point
