What will happen if you feed a 4 month old baby baby food?
It's not recommended that you start feeding a baby baby food until they're 6 months old. This is because their stomach isn't ready to digest foods other than formula or breast milk.

Answer . That really varies, there is no exact way to answer that. My 4 month old for example is about 24 1/2" and weighs nearly 14 lbs. When my neice was only 2 1/2 months she weighed in at 14.
He / She should still get formula or breast milk. Baby food in jars or cooked vegies or fruit that has been smashed. Graham crackers without the honey or regular saltines. No Whole milk yet. Nothing with peanuts in case they have allergies. Just try different baby food to see what they like. I w…ould add to the above list cereals such as porridge or weetabix but be cautious that many commercial breakfast cereals contain too much sugar and salt. ( Full Answer )
yes. ==== studies are inconclusive whether or not babies should watch TV. the recommendation is to limit TV for children under 2 years old. see the links below for more information.
It is not recommended that a 4 month old baby be given grape juice. This is because of the sugar content in the juice. Babies get allthe nutrition and fluids they need from mothers milk or formula.
Babies develop at their own rate, but yes, a 4 month old may be able to sit with support. My 4.5 month old has learned to sit for short periods of time without support. I don't find this answer to be credible. Most babies do not sit on their own until 6-7 months of age. My son held his own neck up …at only 2 days old and sat up on a boppy at 3 months old for 10 to 20 seconds at a time, but they fall left or right. At six months they learn to hold their toes or an object between their legs which keeps them balanced. Every baby does things at their own rate but a four month sitting up all by themselves is quite unbelievable. ( Full Answer )
As a parent, you have the opportunity to decide what goes into your baby's or child's mouth. They cannot go to the store and buy what they want. So, it is easy to make your children eat a healthy diet. Only buy healthy foods for them. If they don't have access to candies, fried foods or other unheal…thy items they can't eat them. If children are fed a healthy diet from the time they are babies they are more likely to continue to eat the same way into adulthood. ( Full Answer )
If you are tradional weaning, then formula baby food can be found in grocery stores and supermarkets. There are a variety of purees and flavours depending on your babies age. If you are baby-led weaning that you have a greater range of options - as your baby can mostly eat whatever you have. This… obviously works within reason, you can't offer your baby junk food - though you can do healthier alternatives, and you must check before offering. Items such as shellfish, chocolate and honey should not introduced before they are 1 year old and excessive salt and sugar must always be monitored. Search for BLW and you will find many supportive forums and information from other parents. ( Full Answer )
There are several foods that an eleven month old baby can eat. Thebaby can eat baby foods, soft foods such a mashed potatoes and somemeats that are finely chopped.
Most babies can begin eating solid foods between the ages of fourand six months. However, it is best to check with your pediatricianbefore introducing them to your baby.
No, you shouldn't introduce solids to your baby until he or she is between four and six months old. Until then breast milk or formula provides all the nutrition your baby needs. That's not entirely true. No two babies are exactly alike. My doctor has my daughter starting solid foods at 3 months. S…he is also teething and two months ahead of her peers. You have your doctor for a reason. If you did not trust him/her you would not entrust your child's health to them. ( Full Answer )
Introducing solid foods can increase the risk of gastrointestinalinfections and allergies. 6 months is when you should be weaning, see here:healthvisitors.com/hv/5/125
without teeth: don't try to do it yourself, call a petshop, or a wildlife rehabilitator now! With teeth: but a gallon fish tank (with lid) ,mouse food, and heat pad. Turn the hat pad on low, place the tank on-top of the heating pad, place two to four inches of shredded toilet paper in the bottom of… the tank, cut the center of a toilet paper roll in half to make a tunnel, place one half under a thin layer of paper, the other half on-top of the shredded paper, and then get a water/soda bottle cap, place inside of a jam jar cap or a larger lid (to catch any water that is spilled, and fill center cap ONLY with CLEAN water. Now get some cheese (American) tear into four quarters, and then put two quarters aside in the fridge, and one quarter in the half tunnel on top of the paper, and the other in the burred tunnel. Powders are least expensive. Powdered formula from the grocery store can cost about $50 a month, brand name powder can cost $100-$150 a month (for about 130oz of powder per month).
Each baby is different and may eat at different times. However, itis not unusual for a five month old able to eat every two to threehours.
Hi, Yes my son is 4 months and 2 weeks old and has tonsilitis. I never knew baby's can get tonsilitis but yes they can.

it is perfectly safe for a baby to fly on a plane as long as they are sucking on a pacifier or bottle feeding during take off and landing.
grass, vegetable that are soft (lettuce, etc.) and normal rabbit food that you find at the store.
when the baby cries you feed it when it pushes the spoon away its done eating.
small pieces of fish fingers, a spread on bread cut in to solduors, thin bits of carrots and peas and sweetcorn pieces
No. They would choke on it because it is too small and hard. Actually, yes, they can eat some baby foods and cereals. My daughter has hand raised multiple orphaned birds (mocking birds, thrashers, starlings, ect...) and has fed all of them baby food, usually chicken or turkey (yes, like cannibali…sm), some vegetable types, by sucking the food up into a plastic 1cc syringe (the kind without a needle, like vets give you to give animals liquid oral medicines), and when the bird is hungry, squeeze the food into the back of his mouth. She also fed them chopped earthworms, pieces of crickets, soft bodied insects and caterpillars. Most birds have incredibly fast metabolisms and need to be fed every 20 minutes to every hour, they will use the bathroom immediately after being fed, so cover your hand with paper towels or feed them on an old towel, but at least they sleep through the night. Their digestive systems aren't strong enough to process the food. (P.S) Never, ever try feeding a less than one year old corn, trust me.
Most baby rabbits will start to eat food on their own when theystop feeding from their mothers milk. Rabbits generally break freefrom milk and go to solids at around 4 months old.
It is my experience, a baby chick needs 4 things: heat (usually a light bulb), water (with "Quik Chic" added), food, and fresh bedding....in that order. After supplying those basic needs if you chick runs in to trouble and gets sick, there are several things I have tried. After dry food is reject…ed - try adding warm water to make a mash. If that is not enough - go back to basics. While the chick was forming in the shell it lived on air and one other thing......the yoke! Go back and try boiling an egg. Take out the yoke - mash it up in a bit of water. It may be just the thing. There are many websites that are wonderful resources. www.feathersite.com www.mcmurrayhatchery.com - has a chick care page to name a few. Good Luck with your patient. Maggie ( Full Answer )

Babies do not usually talk until they are 12 months. But you can encourage your baby to talk earlier by using simple, repetitive phrases with him or her.
No i was told to try and give my 5 month old 4 meals a day by my health visitor.
Addressed here are eight ways to help Mom, Dad and Baby have a good night sleep for days to come. . 1. A bedtime Routine. Babies and infants are creatures of habit. They enjoy the predictability of a sleep ritual so a regular bedtime routine will help settle your baby more quickly and also increas…e the chances to help baby sleep through the night. . Routine helps to establish baby's sleep pattern and once it is established your baby will be happier, more content, and more likely to sleep through the night. This needs to be incorporated right away during the newborn/infant stage. However, its not late to get this routine functioning. It will become harder and take longer as your child gets older. . An example of a good routine is; Put your child in PJ's, set the mood by dimming the lights and establishing a quiet relaxed atmosphere, cuddle time with mom/dad. This is followed by baby in the cot with a story or lullaby. You could give a bath before bedtime as well, or a baby massage which babies love and parents love to do! Be consistent with the above routine. It must be done on a nightly basis until it becomes a habit for your child. . 2. Do not feed your baby to sleep. Feeding a baby to sleep can create a problem with their sleep patterns. The baby will soon begin to recognize that you feed him or her at bedtime. This will become something they depend on and expect. This is the same issue with waking up at night as well. . There are a couple of ways to deal with making this change. . ⢠Firstly, change the time or the amount of time you feed your baby when nearing his or her bedtime. Doing so will gradually remove the association of bedtime with feeding. . ⢠Another option is to feed your child earlier in the evening instead of as a bedtime routine. When you do these things your baby will not associate feeding with bedtime. This will help your baby to learn to fall asleep on his or her own accord. . 3. Bottle and breast feeding. Childcare professionals believe that combining formula bottle feedings and breast feedings can lead to sleep problems and works against the ways used to help baby sleep through the night. . With breast feeding the milk supply is replenished naturally by the breast with each feeding that takes place. When formula milk via a bottle is given instead of breast milk, the breast milk supply can lesson. So with the next breast feeding, there may not be much milk supply as previously. With this, your baby will require more frequent feedings and this is why he will wake up during the night, possible several times for a feeding. Of course, infants need to be woken up and fed every few hours but once this stage passes, your baby is able to go through the night without having to be fed, provided his appetite is satisfied in his last feeding before bed. A baby that is 8 months eats baby food, bananas, oatmeal, cereal, applesauce, green beans, mashed potatoes. And other things NOT corn.
If you mean junk food or table scraps like the fat and other bits that you don't want...then no. If you mean a good diet of meat and veggies...then yes.
Best not to introduce sugar at all so they will not get a liking for it. Babes have fresh taste buds so they don't need extra things added to food. Big rise in obesity in children.
This is the age when your baby is starting to be introduced to solid food between 4 and 7 months.
Yes. My 3 month old eats rice cereal every day an just started on bananas.
Corn is very hard to digest even for adults. Have you ever noticed there are no baby food jars with corn? That is why. It is too hard for a baby to digest, especially a 4 month old.
Speak to your family doctor first. Often, its normal for babies to occasionally not poop for a day or two. But if this happens often or if the delay is longer, there may be more serious health or dietary issues. Otherwise, glycerin suppositories suitable for infants work wonders. You typically wi…ll get lots of poop within minutes of administering the suppository. But check with a doctor first. ( Full Answer )
I've heard you can't feed your 3 month old because it could lead to obesity later in life? I don't really know if that's true. However, my son's pediatrician said we could start on solids at 4 months if he is no longer doing that tongue reflex motion that they do. I've known people to start their ba…by on solids just after 3 months and nothing bad has ever happened to them. As long as your baby seems ready and you're okay with that step than try it out and see what happens. ( Full Answer )
The first day you should only give the pedialyte. If they seen better add saltines, and then the second or third day you should give them plain cherrios, saltines, and pedialyte. DO NOT GIVE THEM DAIRY! I gave mine dairy after 4 days and it was still bad. Stick to plain cherrios, saltines, and pedia…lyte until everything is cleared up. Trust me. And for my cream mix together Vaseline and corn starch! ( Full Answer )

I'm not a doctor but I've given my 2 month old baby a taste of ice cream and yogurt and now I've given her some apples n blueberry baby food and she's had no problem. Do not give honey or peanut butter or anything that can cause food allergies. I give mine very little in between breastfeedings becau…se she has doubled her birth weight and wants few every hour from the breast so I e found the food helps keep her happy longer. It I only let her taste certain things and never replace her actual feedings she still needs the nutrients of breast or formula milk. Hope this helps! Never give babies real cows milk tho they cannot digest the milk proteins. ( Full Answer )
Check with your doctor. Most 5 month old babies are still on formula, breast milk or some other liquid if they have any health issues. They eat a couple of ounces every couple of hours. If the doctor oks it they might be on cereal or pureed food. But only an ounce or two once or twice a day.
I was feeding my daughter small amounts of baby rice cereal from the day she came home from the hospital, and started her on stage 1 baby food at about 2 1/2 months old...mostly veggies tho. Fruit makes the diapers pretty nasty. I would almost be willing to say it helped in her development, even to …this day! She is now 17. Not a picky eater and still to this day LOVES her veggies! Babies do not need solid foods until they are about 6 months old and starting them earlier will possibly cause them to have allergies if they are so prone. I would suggest discussing this with your baby's doctor and following his or her advice. ( Full Answer )
babies are best held off to atleast 17 weeks to be given any solids. They get all their nutrients from the milk alone and that is best for them, ideally hold off to as near 24 weeks old to give solids. Tests have shown that feeding solids too soon can lead to digestive problems and bowel cancer in l…ater life. ( Full Answer )

You can feed them anything you would feed a bottle-fed baby of the same age. Try baby food in a jar.
It iss recommended to start feeding an infant solid foods (baby food) at 6 months. Before then, Their stomachs are week and it make it tough for them to digest the foods.
my babies watched Baby Einstein videos starting about four months old and have enjoyed them very much. the videos also helped me teach them. they also liked the Sesame Street Beginnings DVDs.
NOTHING! Not without the advice of a doctor or pharmacist. Use a proper child's product, but I'm not sure there are any for babies that young. Ask at the pharmacy.
Obviously you know that babies are a extremely joyful part of life, and make you feel special, but it is also obviously known that these babies are not cheap! At 6 months old, most babies will have started eating solids, instead of liquids, as of breast milk or formula. At this age, at least you can… start buying cheaper, less expensive food. Formula costs tons of money, and can leave you struggling. If you still need to feed your baby formula, maybe you can talk to their pediatrician and asking about certain foods you will be able to give them. You can start off slow if needed, by putting some rice cereal into their bottle, which keeps them feeling more full, and teaches them how to keep solid food into their tummy's. As for this question, its very difficult to answer, because every baby is different. They all eat different things, and eat more or less then the other. But if you are able to feed your baby soft foods, like rice cereal and baby food, then here we go. A can of baby food costs averagely around 25 to 50 cents per can, and 1.50 to 3.00 for rice cereal. Make sure your baby do sent have any allergies to any of the foods you are giving them, and make sure you feed them only one thing at a time so you know what they are or are not allergic to. Back to the question, lets say you buy 2 boxes of rice cereal for the month, and 15 cans of baby food. 2 times 3 dollar's= 6 dollars. 15 times 50 cents=7.5 dollars. So all together that's averaging around 14 dollars. But remember, this is just an estimate and cannot be completely true, considering i haven't met your baby! ( Full Answer )
An older experienced doe can manage but generally if you want all the kids to do well you will have to supplement them and use good animal husbandry skills; reason being buck kids are usually bigger and the doe kids will struggle to get enough milk especially initially if left to fend for themselves…. The best way is take the bigger two off the doe during the day ensuring the bigger ones have a tummy full and putting them back with her just on dark. ( Full Answer )
