A 50 volt 60 Hz transformer would work well at 100 volts 120 Hz, because the peak flux density in the core would be unchanged. Provided the insulation remained OK the VA rating of the transformer would be doubled.

Running it at 115 v 60 Hz would probably damage the transformer even on no-load because the core losses would be increased a lot with the flux density running at double the designed amount.

Does a weak battery voltage affect the voltage output of the ignition coil?

Ignition Coil Output Voltage versus a Weak BatteryYes, an ignition coil is nothing more than a dedicated, specialized transformer. As such, the lower the voltage in the primary winding, then the lower the voltage induced in the secondary [output] winding.

How you calculate voltage in a step up transformer on ac?

There is no such equation, since the output of a step-down transformer is not DC. The AC output is simply the input voltage divided by the turns ratio. So, if the input voltage is 120V, and the turns ratio is 5:1, then the output would be 24VAC. Now, if the transforner is followed by a rectifier, producing a DC output, then the output voltage depends on the type. For a half-wave rectifier, the DC output is 0.707 time the AC output. For a full-wave rectifier, the DC output will be 1.414 times the AC output. So, if we take our 24VAC transformer output, and feed it through a full-wave rectifier, the DC output would be 33.9VDC. If the rectifier output is smoothed by a filter capacitor, then the above is only true if the power supply is loaded. The half-wave rectifier output will drift up to the peak voltage (1.414 * AC) if it has no load.

Is the efficiency of a machine calculated by the ratio or by the product?

The efficiency of a machine is calculated by the ratio of useful output work to the input work, typically expressed as a percentage. This ratio helps determine how well a machine converts input energy into useful work output.
