A 12 inch 25 foot you beam would be between $5 and $8 worth in scrap.
I don't think the readers understand my question. I want to know how much money the scrap metal I get from a 14x70 mobile would be worth. Not asking for any fees associated with or any thing that would come from the value of the scrap metal. Just the value of the scrap. I have pretty much gotten everything out that you can sell for scrap. Thank you very much Waiting for reply
cost of steel 12''x18' i-beam per linear foot?
16 foot
Span/load beam questions really cannot be answered. You will need to have the plans looked at by a engineer. At the very least the lumber yard selling the beam may have an on-staff engineer to have a look at it.
There is no way to answer this question without knowing 1) How thick and how wide the beams is, and 2) What shape the beam is: I-beam? H-beam? Tubular beam? Wide-flange beam?
15 lbs per foot
can a 6inch by 6inch post be used as a support beam for a 14foot by 14foot build
well a low beam can be from nothing to 1 foot high a medium beam is 2 and a half feet high and a standard high beam is 3 and a half feet high
A drag beam in construction refers to a short beam used to secure a hip rafter's foot to neutralize its thrust. It is also known as a "dragon beam" and "dragging beam," among several other monikers.
50 pounds per foot.

W = wide flange beam. Shaped like the letter "I" 24 = depth of beam in the vertical dimension 55 = weight of beam per foot. (55Lb/ft)
