Hard to say what a fair price is.Some guys might do it for $100 while others, like me would not do the job, because it will not solve your problem for very long.If those bearing are gone, chances are that the motor will need a complete overhaul. Rather than paying to overhaul an engine, I would buy a long block from advance auto or autozone OR get one from a wrecking yard who will give a guarantee that it runs.Replacing the bearings is just going to be a waste of your money regardless of what someone charges.

If the engines are the same, and the exaust parts look the same, then it should work.
Call your local auto parts store. Front wheel bearings can go from $50 to $200 (plus labor) depending on manufacture.
To replace the bearings on a John Deer mower purchase replacement parts from a retailer such as Lowes or Home Depot. Then consult the instruction manual to learn how to disassemble the mower.
are you talking about the front or back? the back bearings are a non serviceable part, the in order to change the bearings u need to change the hub, the front bearings can be separated, but chances are if you have to change your hub, bearings will have to be changed also, you will damage the bearings trying to remove them and put them back in, so my answer is yes. get the parts yourself from ecstuning.com and you will save alot of money over dealer or most shops.
You will need a special puller available at automotive parts stores.
