I certainly don't recommend it. They say each time you hit your head lightly, as you said, not hard enough to leave a mark, you lose ten brain cells. Until recently, scientists didn't believe that brain cells could regenerate. It has since been proven that excersize can create new brain cells. Still, it's not a good plan.
