If you're certain that there is fuel in the tank, I'd suggest that you have a faulty connector and/or ground wire.
probably no gas, if there is gas then your gauge in the tank is broken or frozen
On a car, there is a float inside your gas tank. It is attached to a switch that sends the empty.....full signals to your fuel gauge.
1st thing to check is the fuel sending unit, second is the guage. go to your local library and find a manual on this car for the specs.
if its computer orientated i would disconect the battery for 20 minutes
fuel pump in tank along with sending unit bad
How to install a boost gauge in a acura integra?"
The temperature sensor is malfunctioning
Bad gauge Bad float in tank
You need a new fuel pump
Faulty signal sender in the tank.
That depends entirely on the vehicle and on how accurate the gauge is.
a bad sending unit in the gas tank.
the float could stick
The gauge or sensor needs to be replaced.
Dimmer switch
The fuel pump may be fine but the sending unit may not be. The sending unit is probably the most common cause of fuel gauge failure.
Either the gauge is broken or the sender is broken.
